Xpeng Delivered the 100th G6 Crossover in Hong Kong Just 8 Weeks After Deliveries Began

On December 26, the Xpeng Motors brand marked an important milestone in the Hong Kong market: the 100th unit of the updated 2026 Xpeng G6 crossover was officially unveiled there. Notably, the first batch of these cars arrived in the region only in November, and the company managed to complete the delivery of one hundred vehicles in just eight weeks, which looks quite telling for a new sales direction.

As for the car itself, in China the updated G6 entered the market in March of this year. Overall, the model retained the recognizable look of the previous version, but received a number of targeted tweaks. Up front, Galaxy light wing LED elements with a “through” graphic appeared, as well as small blue lights associated with the AI smart driving system. The emblem was moved: whereas it used to be located in the lighting unit area, it is now on the hood. Another noticeable change concerns “smart” driving: due to the switch to a purely visual solution, the lidar on the front end was removed, and its place was taken by dynamic black trim.

The profile and rear were barely touched. The hidden door handles, the characteristic body line, and the signature taillights were retained. The dimensions also remained at the level of the current model: 4758/1920/1650 mm, wheelbase 2890 mm.

Inside, the emphasis was placed on upgrading the screens and equipment. Standard features include a streaming rearview mirror, a 15.6-inch “floating” central display, and a 10.25-inch instrument panel. It is reported that 34% of key components were updated, 81 sets were modernized, 19 exterior elements were revised, and 60% of interior trim surfaces were reworked. Three calm shades are offered for the interior: deep cosmic gray, swaying green, and Qiyu gray, while the atmosphere is complemented by the explosive star ring system.

The front seats already come standard with ventilation, heating, and massage, developed jointly with orthopedic clinics. The space is designed for passengers up to 190 cm tall. All versions of the G6 series are factory-equipped with Turing AI and support 5C ultra-fast charging. In terms of hardware, a single-motor version and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup are предусмотрены, and for the single-motor version the maximum power is stated at 218 kW (photo: news.yiche.com).
