22 December, the WEY brand held the official presentation of the upgraded version of the Lanshan Smart crossover. Three versions are being launched at once. The list price without discounts is stated in the range of 299,800–326,800 yuan (3.4–3.7 million rubles), while under a limited-time offer the price is reduced to 275,800–302,800 yuan. At the same time, the manufacturer launched a reservation program in advance: the 2,000–8,000 yuan deposit is credited toward the final cost of the vehicle, plus an additional fund of 3,000 yuan is provided.

As for the essence of the update, the focus is not on appearance but on “smart” functions. The name and positioning explicitly emphasize that the key changes affected the intelligent driver-assistance system and the “cockpit” level, where the large VLA model and a new generation of the CP Master driving assistant are used.
On the outside, the Lanshan Smart largely repeats the current model. The front end features a closed grille, split light units, and enlarged air intakes. This makes the car easily recognizable in traffic. In profile, the hidden door handles and dense multi-spoke wheels draw attention, adding a “premium” vibe. The rear received a full-width light strip with an unusual pattern, as well as a small blue indicator lamp linked to intelligent driving—it visually makes the rear look more “layered.” The dimensions were not revised: 5156×1980×1805 mm, wheelbase — 3050 mm. The Black Warrior package option is also announced separately, as well as the personalized “Black Samurai” version.
The interior remains in the smart space logic on Coffee OS 3.4. It features a simple-shaped two-spoke steering wheel and a whole array of screens: a floating pair of 15.6-inch displays, a 17.3-inch entertainment screen for rear passengers, an instrument cluster, a 29-inch SR-HUD, as well as a rearview mirror with streaming multimedia.
Technically, the new model is presented as the industry’s first six-seat plug-in hybrid SUV with the large VLA model. The equipment includes 27 intelligent sensors, an NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U chip, and 700 TOPS of computing power, which, as the manufacturer emphasizes, provides a 176% increase in power redundancy and makes it possible to perform full-featured real-time computing under the VLA protocol. CP Master supports natural-language dialogue: it is enough to address the assistant “Xiao Wei Classmate” and give a command like “Help me get started” or “Stay away from the car…,” to quickly control the actions of the driver-assistance system. At the same time, Great Wall Motor separately controls voice operation so that passengers cannot “intercept” commands from the driver and thereby affect safety.
The powertrain is based on DHT-PHEV: a 1.5-liter ICE and a P4 motor together produce 300 kW (408 hp). The WLTC-rated electric range is stated at 185 or 220 km (depending on the version), and the total WLTC range is 1308 or 1343 km. The transmission is a 4-speed DHT. All versions are equipped by default with the Hi4 performance intelligent all-wheel-drive hybrid, as well as electronically controlled shock absorbers and a pre-control damping system. Also mentioned is the iTVC torque vectoring system, which should help at low speeds by reducing the risk of wheelspin and loss of control.
The main rivals of the Lanshan Smart Advanced Edition are named as the Ideal L8/i8 and the Xpeng G9. It is also noted that WEY updates the model very quickly: after the first two updates, about a month later the VLA system in the car was already updated, and by the feel of it the manufacturer continues to confidently expand capabilities relative to the previous version.
As a result, the updated Lanshan Smart was primarily “upgraded” in terms of assistants and the digital cockpit: it should better “listen, see, and think,” provide prompts and explanations, and also execute commands by voice. More than a dozen new functions are also claimed—from pre-aiming damping and anti-motion-sickness protection to intelligent updates in a foreign language. Combined with personalized packages like the “Black Samurai,” the new model looks like an attempt to catch up with the first-tier leaders in terms of intelligent driving, without changing the basic concept of the vehicle (source: autohome.com.cn).
