On December 29, it became known that the 2026 model year Haval Raptor crossover received its first over-the-air (OTA) update. The information was confirmed by an official brand representative. At the same time, it is reported that the vehicle has already begun to go on sale in batches, meaning deliveries are not limited to single units.

The update itself primarily affects the electronic systems and the so-called smart cockpit. One of the most noticeable innovations is an improved windshield projection: the updated HUD can now display a seconds countdown for reading traffic light signals, which should make it easier to navigate in urban traffic. Another change concerns the car’s 3D model in the interface: the “desktop” visualization has gained a body color selection function, allowing the vehicle’s on-screen appearance to be customized to the owner’s preferences.
In addition to graphics and prompts, the manufacturer also worked on practical aspects. In particular, the airflow delivery to the air-conditioning system has been optimized, and the ease of controlling the “pilot” version of the 360-degree surround-view system has been improved. Overall, the update looks like a comprehensive refinement of the interface and comfort, without вмешательства in the mechanical part (source: autohome.com.cn).
