Deliveries and sales of Dongfeng GX 4×2 tractor units have been resumed: the DFH4180 model has already appeared at official dealers of the brand’s commercial vehicles in Russia. Essentially, the availability issue has been resolved, and buyers can once again order these vehicles through the authorized network.
The return became possible after Rosstandart lifted the previously imposed restrictions. At the same time, information in the national section of the Unified Register of Vehicle Type Approval Certificates was adjusted, which cleared the way for the resumption of sales.
Recall that in July of this year, the Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS) for the Dongfeng GX 4×2 was suspended. After that, the official importer, Dongfeng Motor Rus LLC, organized a recall to bring the trucks into compliance with UNECE regulations.
As the brand’s press service уточняет, all the necessary regulatory steps have already been completed. The tractor units have been признаны compliant with current standards, so their operation and further sales on the Russian market have been resumed as normal (photo: Dongfeng).
