Li Auto Okami Dealer: About 1,200 Li Auto Crossovers Were Imported into Russia Under OTTS, but Demand Outpaces Supply

The paradox of the current situation is that, with formally “streamlined” deliveries, it is still not always possible to pick a car to match an exact request. Dealers are allocated limited batches, and if a customer needs a specific color, interior, or set of options, they often have to choose from what is already in stock. According to Alexander Madiarov, Director of “Li Auto Okami,” about 1,200 crossovers have been brought in this year under the Russian OTTS, with the bulk being L6 and L7, and noticeably fewer flagship L9s. At the same time, demand is still confidently outpacing supply.

Which models are currently “a priority” for deliveries

  • the most widely available are the Li Auto L6 and L7 crossovers;
  • the Li Auto L9 is less common, which makes it harder to fulfill “pinpoint” orders;
  • if the required configuration is unavailable, the customer is offered a compromise from the available options.

Why it became easier for dealers after OTTS

Interestingly, dealers attribute the easing of their work not to prices—they have, on the contrary, gone up—but to legal certainty. After the OTTS was issued, some buyers’ doubts about the “correctness” of the purchase disappeared, and the network itself began to expand faster. Dealerships, as the head notes, feel more confident because the need to structure sales by registering cars to individuals at the start of the project has gone away.

Warranty and service: what owners are promised

A separate emphasis is placed on warranty support: it is stated to be factory-backed, from Li Auto, rather than an “internal” warranty from the seller. Service specialists have already undergone training in China:

  • overall warranty: 3 years or 100,000 km, including a broad list of components (up to consumables such as spark plugs);
  • for the electric motor and traction battery: 8 years or 160,000 km.

Competitors and what wins over the buyer

In the Russian market, according to the dealer’s assessment, the most prominent rivals have been Wey, Voyah, and Exeed’s Exlantix lineup. Their strong point is the availability of special loan products, whereas the influence of other premium brands represented in the country is still felt to be weaker.

How the backdrop around “parallel” imports has changed

After the OTTS appeared, Madiarov says, the intensity of competition from alternative import channels has decreased. For customers for whom a purchase with VAT is important, an official dealer often turns out to be more advantageous than parallel-import schemes—due to the specifics of calculating the final price (photo: Li Auto).

What is being prepared for 2026: financing, features, and possible lineup expansion

It is expected that at the beginning of 2026, official sellers will introduce loan programs and installment plans, which should strengthen the brand’s position. In parallel, technical updates are also announced for cars intended for Russia: we are talking about new “advanced” functions that will make operation easier.

Likely directions of development:

  • launch of credit tools and installment plans at dealers
  • the appearance of new functions in vehicles for the Russian market
  • an expansion in the number of trim levels, and possibly an addition to the model range

The topic of the app is mentioned separately: it was previously reported that an international version is being developed with smartphone access and the ability to create a “master account” without being tied to a Chinese number. For now, however, issues with the app, as noted, are handled by dealership staff. The electric minivan Li Mega is also mentioned as a potential new product for the Russian Federation: it was tested by Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov during a visit to the brand’s site in China.

Prices for official Li Auto vehicles in Russia

Three models are currently officially offered in the country, and the recommended prices are as follows:

  • Li Auto L6 (2025 model year): 7,770,000–8,290,000 rubles;
  • Li L7 Ultra: 9,990,000 rubles;
  • Li L9 Ultra: 11,490,000 rubles (excluding benefits).
