The full production cycle at the Kaluga site, which previously operated under Volkswagen, was launched only in the summer of 2025: the plant set up body welding and painting, after which assembly moved to a “grown-up” scheme. And it was against this backdrop that the factory reached a new round milestone in the output of Tenet vehicles.

The anniversary unit in the batch was a Tenet T7 crossover, specifically in the Prime trim. An important equipment detail is the presence of an all-wheel-drive system, which for buyers in the SUV segment is often one of the key arguments.
The Tenet lineup in Russia is currently built around three crossovers. The junior T4 essentially mirrors the Chery Tiggo 4, but is sold under a different brand. The mid-size T7 is a reworked version of the Chery Tiggo 7L, and the flagship T8 is based on the Chery Tiggo 8 Plus, which previously was not officially offered on our market.
The Tenet name itself appeared relatively recently: the brand was first introduced in February 2025. And already in October these cars were included in preferential loan and leasing programs. At the same time, back in late November 2025 the manufacturer reported reaching the mark of 30 thousand vehicles produced, and now the figure is already 50 thousand (photo: Tenet).
