The plan for next year at the Kaluga-based company “Automotive Technologies” has already been outlined: management expects to produce around 35 thousand vehicles. Against this backdrop, it is especially telling that the plant met its current targets ahead of schedule, assembling 24.5 thousand Haval M6 crossovers and thus fulfilling the annual program early.

Market interest in the model is confirmed by sales statistics. According to Avtostat, in November Russians bought 3,660 units of the Haval M6, and that was enough for the crossover to secure seventh place in the ranking of the most in-demand cars.
It is also worth recalling separately that in mid-December the company reported the production of 10 thousand M6 units already manufactured on a full-cycle basis. This refers to a scheme involving body welding and painting, rather than simple assembly from ready-made modules.
The plant switched to full-scale production in the summer: the start of the full cycle fell in July 2025. Before the launch, a production flow management system was implemented at the site, the component base was prepared and adapted, and a number of tasks necessary for mass production were carried out. Previously, the M6 was assembled here using the large-unit method, which was launched in February of this year. The plant itself was formerly known as “PSMA Rus”: until 2022 it produced Citroën, Peugeot, Opel, and Mitsubishi (photo: Haval).
