Premium brand Chery Exeed continues to actively expand its model range. After the company brought the ET5 to market last month, four brand-new models were unveiled to the public at the Exeed Brand Night event at once: ES8, ES7 GT, ET8, and ET9. In doing so, the manufacturer expanded two lineups—ES and ET—and simultaneously announced a transition to the so-called “3.0 era.”

As brand representatives emphasized, Exeed intends to cement its role as a global innovator among luxury high-performance brands in the era of “smart” mobility. Visually, the new cars look striking, although one can’t help but notice an interesting nuance: their indices coincide with the model designations used by Nio, where, by the way, ES refers to crossovers and ET to sedans.
Exeed’s logic is different. The ES8 and ES7 GT are made in a shooting-brake format, while the ET8 and ET9 belong to the SUV segment. At the same time, the ES series, according to the company, focuses on dynamics: the ES7 GT version received a sport suspension and 0–100 km/h acceleration in under 4 seconds. The ET8 and ET9 feature doors styled in a classic manner.
The brand also promised to release more than three additional new models over the next 10–20 months. Such activity is understandable: Exeed sales for January–November totaled 97,706 vehicles, which is 23.93% less than last year’s result (128,438). Against this backdrop, the ET5, which marked the start of the ET series, received a final price tag 15.63% lower than the preliminary one (source: cnevpost.com).
