The equipment list for the future 2026 Changan Uni-S for Russia has already been partially revealed: it includes 18- and 19-inch wheels, climate control, tire-pressure sensors, power adjustment and heating for the exterior mirrors, as well as front airbags. For those who want more comfort and protection, options such as a sunroof and side curtain airbags are предусмотрены.
Technically, the crossover also comes with no surprises, but with an important detail: a modification with all-wheel drive is now заявлена. Regardless of the transmission type, the Uni-S is equipped with a 1.5-liter JL473ZQ7 turbo engine producing 181 hp and 280 N*m. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch robotic gearbox. A multi-link suspension is used at the rear, and the driven wheels can be either the front wheels only or both axles.
A key step toward an official market launch has already been taken: the vehicle has received Russian OTTS approval, valid until December 12, 2028. The document is issued for Chinese-built cars produced in Chongqing, and it is what allows sales to begin in Russia and the EAEU countries with PTS issuance. At the same time, the industry is discussing that later the Uni-S may be put into local assembly at Avtotor.
In terms of dimensions, the model is close to the latest fourth-generation CS75 Plus and is выполнена in a similar style with large front optics and a frameless grille. The dimensions of the front-wheel-drive version are 4550×1868×1675 mm, while the all-wheel-drive one is slightly taller: 1680 mm. Interestingly, the wheelbase also differs: 2656 mm for the 2WD version and 2650 mm for the AWD. Curb weight is stated within 1505–1625 kg.
Although formally the Uni-S is already ready to launch, dealers were previously given a more distant target: the second half of 2026. профильные sources spoke about the appearance of an all-wheel-drive Uni-S in Russia back in the summer of 2025, and in the fall the new model was shown to partners at a conference.
