A few days ago, an official representative reported that a new OTA update has been prepared for the Seal 06 models in the DM-i smart driving version, as well as for the fully electric Seal 06 EV. The manufacturer disclosed a list of new features and improvements affecting both multimedia capabilities and the operating logic of the assistants.
Among the new functions are Netease cloud music and the Glory Car Union service. Additional marking options will also appear in the parking system: several “horizontal” parking spaces have been added, allowing the driver to switch the parking direction. For the Seal 06 EV, the list is expanded: the electric car will receive support for planning a route to a charger on the map, saving the HUD account, and a separate rest mode.
Optimization of existing features is noted separately. Sound transmission throughout the cabin has been improved for access to intelligent voice communication, and the logic of voice prompts during driver-assistance operation has been revised. Custom button-function settings have been added, interface elements and prompts in the “classic” language have been updated. In the 360-degree parking mode, rotation and dragging of an additional parking-space frame are now supported, and some settings have been simplified, including the reminder of distance traveled on the tablet and the parking-assistant functions.
