As analysts believe, the beginning of 2026 may bring a noticeable drop in new-car sales to the Russian market. However, automakers, apparently, are taking the pessimistic forecasts calmly: in January they are ready to offer buyers several fresh options at once that are worth paying attention to.

First on the list is the 2026 model-year Lada Vesta, whose sales have already started. The car remains front-wheel drive and is offered with a choice of two engines: 1.6 liters (106 hp) or 1.8 liters (122 hp). The transmission options include a six-speed manual or a CVT. The starting price is stated from 1,525,000 rubles. The main updates are the introduction of keyless entry and remote engine start, as well as an upgraded EnjoY multimedia system with the PlayAuto projection solution and an ecosystem of Sber services.
Another important premiere for Russia is the fourth-generation Changan CS75 Plus. The crossover is equipped with a 2.0-liter engine producing 235 hp, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and featuring all-wheel drive. The price starts from 4,099,000 rubles excluding discounts. The exterior stands out with horizontal LED daytime running lights, a frameless grille, and “pixel” taillights. The options list includes a 360-degree camera system with a “transparent chassis” mode, adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, and traffic sign recognition (photo: Changan).
