At the end of 2025, Auto.ru journalists conducted tests for cars priced up to 2.5 million rubles. Eight models took part in the races and checks: Omoda S5, Geely Emgrand, Livan X3 Pro, Moskvich 3, JAC JS3, Solaris KRX, LADA Iskra, and LADA Vesta SW Cross. A separate stage was the assessment of scheduled maintenance costs, comparing how much routine servicing costs for domestic and Chinese cars.

Based on the calculations, the most expensive to maintain was the JAC JS3 — 30,300 rubles. Next came the Geely Emgrand with a result of 25,600 rubles, and third place went to the Omoda S5 — 23,900 rubles. Next on the list is the LADA Vesta SW Cross: its scheduled service was estimated at 20,200 rubles. Slightly lower were the Moskvich 3 (19,400 rubles) and the Solaris KRX (16,800 rubles). At the bottom of the ranking is the LADA Iskra with 12,300 rubles, and the lowest costs were shown by the Livan X3 Pro: 9,170 rubles.
Thus, the test confirmed that Russian models do not always lead in low maintenance costs: the Livan beat the Iskra, and the Vesta settled in the middle, trailing both the Moskvich and the Solaris (photo: “AvtoVAZ”).
